Reason for being in STL

Following her father’s devastating accident, her mother made the agonizing choice to abandon them, leaving Sofia and her family completely adrift, disconnected from any support network. It was a time of deep despair and unending struggles. Sofia’s father, hampered by his inability to work effectively, could no longer provide the income their family so desperately needed.

At the tender age of six, Sofia was rescued by Shed The Light (STL).
STL provides not only material support but also the intangible gift of hope. With STL’s assistance, children like Sofia can regain a sense of security, rebuild their dreams, and look forward to a future filled with promise and opportunity. They offer the caring hand children need to hold on to in times of despair and uncertainty.
