Reason for being in STL

Karuna Hamal hails from Jumla, an extremely isolated area in our country. She faced a tough life there, but when she was just 5 years old, STL came to her rescue. Her younger sister, Ganga Hamal, is also at STL. Living in Jumla was very challenging for them. They couldn’t even have proper meals and couldn’t go to school.

Their journey from the hardships of Jumla to the care and support of STL has brought warmth to their lives, giving them hope for a brighter future ahead. Their story is a testament to the power of compassion and the potential for transformation.
