Reason for being in STL

At the age of three, Kali was rescued by Shed The Light (STL). She hails from the rugged high Himalayas, a place where life is demanding and challenging. Kali’s family faced extreme hardships and, despite their best efforts, were unable to provide her with the necessary care and good education. STL stepped in to help Kali, recognizing her potential and the difficult circumstances she and her family faced.

Kali’s rescue is a testament to STL’s commitment to offering opportunities for a brighter future, for children facing tough circumstances like those in the Himalayas as well as other parts of the country
