Reason for being in STL

At just eight years old, Bhumika was rescued by Shed The Light (STL), escaping a painful past. Abandoned by her mother and with a father battling alcoholism, she had to become the family’s sole provider. School was a dream, and she scraped by from house to house, struggling for food and shelter.
