Reason for being in STL

Binita Praja comes from the struggling and backward Bankariya community in Nepal. At just 9 years old, her life was a constant battle against poverty, with basic necessities like food and education remaining out of reach. However, her life took a turn for the better when Shed The Light (STL) stepped in to rescue her.

 STL provided Binita with food, shelter, and most importantly, an education. She embraced the chance to learn and, over time, her determination and resilience shone through. Binita’s story reminds us that, with support and opportunities, individuals from the most underprivileged communities can overcome adversity and inspire us all.
